Nytt globalt partnerskap mellan Manchester City och Xylem

SINGAPORE - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Premier League Champions, meddelade Manchester City idag ett globalt flerårigt partnerskap med Xylem att bli Klubbens officiella vattenteknikpartner. Partnerskapet tillkännagavs idag vid ett evenemang i Singapore, som deltog i Club legend, Joleon Lescott, under Singapore International Water Week - världens främsta globala plattform för att skapa innovativa vattenlösningar.

Xylem kommer också att samarbeta med Citys systerklubb New York City FC och Manchester City kvinnors lag.

Genom partnerskapet strävar Xylem med att öka medvetenheten om att pressa globala vattenutmaningar och lösningar. Xylem kommer också att arbeta med Manchester City på Xylem Watermark-projekt, t.ex. byggnadsvattentorn i samhällen runt om i världen utan tillgång till rent vatten. Xylem Watermark är företagets sociala investeringsplattform. Över hela världen saknar 2,1 miljarder människor rent dricksvatten hemma, vilket har allvarliga konsekvenser för samhällsutvecklingen. Varje år förloras 443 miljoner skoldagar över hela världen på grund av vattenrelaterade sjukdomar, och kvinnor och barn spenderar mer än 200 miljoner timmar att samla vatten dagligen, drastiskt begränsande tid för mer produktiva strävanden.

SINGAPORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Premier League Champions, Manchester City today announced a global multi-year partnership with Xylem to become the Club’s Official Water Technology Partner. The partnership was announced today at an event in Singapore, which was attended by Club legend, Joleon Lescott, during the Singapore International Water Week – the world’s premier global platform for co-creating innovative water solutions.

Xylem will also partner with City’s sister club New York City FC and the Manchester City women’s team.

Through the partnership, Xylem aims to raise awareness about pressing global water challenges and solutions. Xylem will also work with Manchester City on Xylem Watermark projects, such as building water towers in communities around the world without access to clean water. Xylem Watermark is the company’s social investment platform. Across the globe, 2.1 billion people lack clean drinking water at home which has serious consequences for community development. Every year, 443 million school days are lost worldwide due to water-related illnesses, and women and children spend more than 200 million hours collecting water daily, drastically limiting time for more productive endeavours.
