Double strap service saddle specifically for Concrete Steel Cylinder and concrete coated Steel pipe.
- Meets applicable AWWA C800 Standards
- The wide saddle body provides stability on the pipe
- Excellent way to tap concrete cylinder or concrete Steel pipe
- NPT, CC and other threaded outlets available in sizes ⅝" to 2"
- Hemispherical washers provide full bearing for the strap nuts and align the straps with the saddle body
- Provides maximum support of the pipe for better performance in the tapped area (nearly 360º)
- The unique twist-lock tapped insert can accommodate up to 1½" variation in the thickness of the concrete finish
- A grout opening is provided in the saddle body alongside the insert for restoring the concrete finish after the tap is completed
