Scottish Mini Pump Centre Conference

The theme of this year’s Scottish Conference is ‘From Design to Failure, The Real-Life Cycle’. The aim is to demonstrate the importance of making the correct design choices, including the use of the WIMES and Life Cycle Costing models. The Conference will also provide an understanding of how and why pump testing is carried out and NPSH & Cavitation will be discussed and demonstrated on a test rig. The basics of Condition monitoring will be explained and examples of failed components will be shown and discussed. The day will end with an update on the progress of the Scottish Water Project.
