- Reverse osmosis,
- Nanofiltration and
- Ultrafiltration systems.
Xylem has several membrane cleaning services for customers with different maintenance needs.
- Onsite membrane cleaning
- This is the process of recirculating high and low PH cleaners through a membrane system (RO, NF, UF) to restore membrane performance.
- This is done onsite with existing cleaning skid.
- Offsite Membrane cleaning
- When a customer does not have a cleaning skid membranes can be cleaned offsite at Xylem regeneration sites or at Evoqua-contracted 3rd party sites
- Membranes can be tested pre and post for performance and come with a cleaning report.
- Membranes can also be preserved for future use.
- Membrane Replacement
- Removal and replacement of RO, UF, and NF due to inferior performance.
- After membranes are replaced system flow and pressure will be normalized to startup conditions and data will be recorded
