The Smith-Blair 245 Redi-Clamp is a repair clamp designed to repair pin holes, punctures, or splits in pipe. It works on Steel, PVC, HDPE*, and Copper tube, providing a versatile solution for a wide range of pipe repair needs in the field. 

The 245 Redi-Clamp is constructed with a Type 304 Stainless Steel band for corrosion resistance and Ductile Iron lugs per ASTM A536 with a Flexi-Coat® Epoxy Finish for added durability. The gasket is compounded from Nitrile (Buna N) to resist oil, natural gas, acids, alkalies, most aliphatic hydrocarbons, water, and many chemicals. Bolts are Carbon Steel SAE J 429, electro-galvanized with di-chromate seal. For additional corrosion protection, optional 304 Stainless Steel bolts with fluoropolymer-coated nuts are available to prevent galling.

The 245 Redi-Clamp is rated for working pressures up to 150 PSI and is built to a specific pipe O.D. Nominal pipe sizes range from 1/2" through 12", offering wide compatibility across common pipe dimensions.

Designed as an economical means of repairing pin hole leaks, punctures, and splits in pipe, the Smith-Blair 245 features drop-in bolts to help ease installation and a gasket positioned to provide superior sealing at the point of leak. The Type 304 Stainless Steel band delivers reliable corrosion resistance, while the epoxy-coated lugs provide additional protection in demanding environments. Standard widths of 3", 6", 9", and 12" accommodate a variety of repair requirements across your system.

It is important to note that the clamp should not be relied upon to restrain pipe movement; proper anchoring is required to prevent pipe pullout. Always read installation instructions prior to installing.
