Xylem's Smith-Blair 228 Full Circle Repair Clamp provides a fast, economical means for repairing full circumferential breaks, holes, cracks and other types of breaks on large diameter pipe. This versatile repair solution is available in both double band and triple band configurations and works on cast iron, ductile iron, steel, asbestos cement, copper, aluminum, PVC, HDPE, fiberglass and other pipe types. The clamp accommodates large diameter pipe sizes ranging in 14" and larger nominal.  

Installation of the 228 Full Circle Repair Clamp is simplified through innovative design features that reduce installation time and complexity on large diameter pipe. The removable lugs allow installation in tight spaces where access is limited, making it ideal for confined work areas around large pipe systems. The drop-in bolts eliminate threading difficulties. The Flexi-Coat® Epoxy Finish of the lugs provides excellent corrosion resistance in harsh environments. The multi-band design provides superior range capability for large diameter pipe applications. This product does not restrain pipe movement, and proper anchoring is required to prevent pipe pull out.
