XDM software provides rapid insight into the condition of all the systems
In the municipality of Vlaardingen, rainwater and wastewater are processed by more than seventy pumping stations, six of which are large, dry-installed main pumping stations and a large number of subsidiary and mini-pumping stations. Supervision is the responsibility of Xylem, which means that the Vlaardingen maintenance department receives a weekly overview of all relevant events. This data is generated by the XDM software - developed by Xylem - which is created partly thanks to the input of one of the Vlaardingen employees.
