Asad Choudry

Director, Product Management, Transport, Water Infrastructure

As Director of Product Management for Transport, Asad leads Xylem's Flygt submersible pump, G&G axial flow pump, AC Custom large, engineered pump and NS pump portfolios, along with hydropower turbine applications. He works closely with utilities and cities to help them navigate the operational and design decisions behind resilient water infrastructure, translating deep technical expertise into practical solutions for customers facing aging infrastructure and increasingly severe storm events.

Asad has more than 24 years of experience in the water infrastructure and pump industry. Prior to his current role, he held product and engineering leadership positions at ITT Goulds Pumps, Sulzer and Grundfos, including a posting with Xylem Water Solutions AB in Sweden. He is an active member of the New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA) and the Water Environment Federation (WEF), serving on NYWEA's Wastewater Collection System Committee and Stormwater Committee, as well as WEF's Collection Systems Committee work that keeps him closely connected to the operational challenges utilities face on the ground.

Asad holds an engineering degree from Hofstra University and is bilingual in English and Spanish. He is based in Los Angeles, CA.
