As a part of this process, a nuclear power plant located in the northeast of the U.S. sought an emergency back-up solution to inject cooling water into the plant reactor in the event that all other means of cooling failed.

Xylem handles the pressure for landmark towers in Malta
The futuristic twisted design of the Mercury Towers in St Julian’s in Malta has an impressive impact on the skyline. Created by Zaha Hadid Architects, it is the tallest building on the island. Phase 1 of the development was opened in November 2023 including a three-level shopping mall, a plaza and a 4-storey underground car park.

Xylem supports China earthquake relief
The equipment is valued at $290,000, and will provide nearly 55,000 litres of safe drinking water per hour for quake victims living in relief shelters. Xylem executive leaders and technicians are currently in Sichuan to train local workers to operate the equipment.
