AquaCarb 830AW 55LB PB is a high activity granular activated carbon manufactured from selected grades of anthracite coal. This high purity acid washed carbon has been manufactured by a re-agglomeration process and exhibits exceptional hardness and attrition resistance characteristics. This activated carbon has a very low ash content, is pH neutral, and is free of sulfides.

This high surface area microporous carbon has been specifically developed for the removal of a broad range of organic contaminants from potable, waste and process waters. Suitable applications for this acid washed carbon include taste, odor, chlorine and tannin removal. An Iodine level of 900+ makes this carbon suitable for hemodialysis applications.
