Xylem Watermark is supporting communities around the world that are affected by COVID-19
Xylem Watermark has established the Watermark Partner Community Grants Program to support our business partners and customers as they work to address the most pressing needs in their community. Any Xylem customer, supplier, and partner within our business network qualify to apply for a Watermark Partner Community Grant on behalf of a local nonprofit partner engaged in response to COVID-19. We are dedicated to supporting our partner’s and communities.
As communities around the world face new challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, Xylem Watermark is committed to supporting nonprofit organizations which are providing vital services to those on the front lines and those in need. Xylem Watermark will match funds donated and raised by our business partners at a 1:1 match. To donate or create a fundraiser for a nonprofit cause of your choice, complete the Apply for Matching application form.
Americares and Xylem Watermark have partnered together to bring water, sanitation and hygiene education to the forefront in critical care facilities on the front lines of the COVID-19 epidemic.
With Xylem Watermark’s sustained support, Americares plans to combat a global shortage and train health workers in under-resourced countries in infection prevention and control, including water, sanitation and hygiene best practices, and deliver personal protective equipment, to control the spread of COVID-19. Longer term, Americares and Xylem Watermark will partner on water and sanitation infrastructure improvements at select health facilities hard hit by the pandemic to respond to long-term water and sanitation issues and build resilience against future outbreaks.
Xylem Watermark has also launched a new partnership with UNICEF USA, in part to fund their global efforts to support children and families impacted by COVID-19. UNICEF USA is engaging in global efforts to address the COVID-19 outbreak, focusing on countries that have weak public health infrastructure and social support systems, including vulnerable regions of Africa & Asia. The pillar of program work will be the provision of critical WASH supplies and improving infection prevention and control through critical WASH community health programs, youth engagement, and the support of sustainable programming.
Many Xylem employees live and work in communities around the world that have been affected by the COVID-19 crisis. The safety and health of our colleagues is Xylem’s priority, and we are taking steps to ensure that our colleagues and their families are supported during this time.
