UltraCarb carbon is designed to efficiently purify and/or decolorize many aqueous and organic liquids. It is used in the oil refining and gas processing industries in the purification of circulating amine streams, glycol dehydration units and gas purification units. It provides excellent adsorption characteristics when used in slipstream treatment applications. UltraCarb high-density carbon has a large pore volume and high surface area. Its pore structure has been carefully designed for the adsorption of both high and low molecular weight impurities which are typically found as contaminants in closed loop circulating streams. Its particle size has been selected to give optimum adsorption characteristics and low resistance to flow.
