Removable U-tube bundle heat exchanger with 2, 4 and 6 pass models covering areas as large as 1900 square feet. Shell Diameters from 4″ to 29″. B300 has 3/4″ OD Tubes. SX2000U has 3/8” OD tubes. ASME Code constructed.
Materials:
Shell: steel with stainless options
Tubesheet: steel with stainless, CuNi and brass options
Tubes: copper with stainless and CuNi options
Bonnets: cast iron with cast stainless and cast bronze options
Design Pressure and Temperature:
Tube side: 150 psi and 375°F
Shell side: 150 psi and 375°F
Other options available
Applications: For heating water or other fluids, using steam or water as the heating/cooling medium.
Limitations:
Cannot be made single pass on the tube side.
Individual tube replacement is difficult
U-bend area of tubes is difficult to clean
