Before the end of 2000, the Dutch government decided that all growers should be allowed to discharge wastewater continuously into municipal sewer systems to avoid overflows into ditches and open waters. To achieve this Brielle Borough Council installed a special solution using a pressure sewage system combined with a booster pump and Flygt FGC controller. The results, in brief, include lower energy consumption, flowless operation and no repairs or breakdowns, and minimal environmental costs. Download to read the whole story.
