Flygt Check & Gate Valves

Overview
Check and gate valves for wastewater have a 100% free flow to prevent clogging
Good quality valves allow a long service life
Valves can be installed in horizontal and vertical position
CHECK VALVE
Valves made especially for wastewater prevent clogging to 100% by providing a free flow through the valve. Good-quality valves extend service life. The valve closes every time the pump stops — thousands of times over many years.
GATE VALVE AND KNIFE GATE VALVE
Xylem supplies gate valves suitable for wastewater. They have 100% free flow through the valve to prevent clogging by solids in the water.
Good-quality valves ensure a long service life, with normal functioning even after many years of operation.
Knife gate valves have a short face-to-face length, e.g. for installation in tight spaces.
Wet Pit (P)
Semi permanent, submersible pump installation. Wet pit arrangement with the pump installed on twin guide bars with automatic connection to the discharge pipe.
Portable (F)
Free standing, semi permanent, submersible pump installation. Free standing pump with connection for discharge hose or pipe in sumps with restricted space.
Portable (S)
Portable, submersible pump installation. Portable pump with hose coupling or flange for connection to the discharge pipe.
Dry Installation vertical (T)
Vertical, permanent, dry pump installation. The submersible pump is installed in a dry pit, with flange connection to suction and discharge piping.
Dry Installation (Z)
Horizontal, permanent, dry pump installation. The submersible pump is installed in a dry pit, with flange connection to suction and discharge piping.
