Lynn C. Swann

President, Swann, Inc.

Mr. Swann is President of Swann, Inc., a marketing and consulting firm that he founded in 1976, and has held leadership roles across business, government and philanthropic organizations. From 2016 to 2019, he served as the athletic director of the University of Southern California, where he was responsible for the overall administration of the university’s women’s and men’s Division I athletic programs.   

Mr. Swann was appointed by President George W. Bush as the Chairman of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, serving from 2002 to 2005. He was the Republican party nominee for Pennsylvania governor in 2006. He is also a Hall of Fame athlete, having played for nine seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers professional football team, and worked on-air as a host, reporter, and analyst for the American Broadcasting Company (ABC-TV).
