Ultra/Micro Filtration

Ultra/Micro Filtration systems both use semi-permeable membranes to separate suspended solids from feed water. They remove particles in the 20 Angstrom to 0.1 µm range (ultrafiltration) and 0.1 – 10 µm range (microfiltration). Regular backwashes keep the membranes clean between periodic chemical cleaning. These systems can be used to protect downstream equipment such as reverse osmosis systems, or can be used as stand-alone systems to remove suspended solids.
