Overview

Thermal Energy Integrator for measuring Heating and Cooling Energy

The PolluTherm® F integrator measures energy consumption in heating or cooling circuits. PolluTherm F can also be used for dedicated applications which combine one circuit for heating and cooling.

Product Features
  • For usage with almost all passive (no external power supply necessary) flow sensors with output pulse values between 1 liter and 10,000 liter per impulse.
  • High-resolution measuring cycles (2 seconds for temperatures, 4 seconds for power and flow rate)
  • Comfortable LC-display with eight-digit main reading line
  • A variety of anytime upgrade plugin modules are available for electronic reading and connection to building automation systems.
  • OMS 4.0.2 for wireless M-Bus BSI mode 5 / 7, certified Mode 5 and Mode 7 (DVGW-Cert)
  • Soft key / direct display parameterization when the amount of detected energy is still ≤ 10 kWh or installation mode has not jet passed for
    • The flow sensor’s point of installation, so warmer or colder pipe
    • Energy Unit kWh/MWh/GJ

The PolluTherm® in combination with our ultrasonic flow sensor PolluFlow plus our compact (all-in-one) Thermal Energy meter PolluStat® make up a perfect team to easily solve and maintain any 5°C to 90°C/PN16 application.

Benefits to you:

Simplifies stock-keeping

  • All accessories are the same for PolluStat® and PolluTherm® F
  • All communication options are also available as a retro-fit module, e.g. wireless M-Bus (wM-Bus), LoRaWAN (design/process: Elvaco), NB-IoT, wired M-Bus, Modbus, diverse pulse in- and output combinations.

Optional External Power Supply 230V or 24V

Connects all paired temperature sensors Pt 500 in two-wire technology
Soft key / direct display parameterization when the amount of detected energy is still ≤ 10 kWh or installation mode has not jet passed for

  • The flow sensor’s point of installation, so warmer or colder pipe
  • Energy Unit kWh/MWh/GJ

PolluTherm® F with Ultrasonic Flow sensor PolluFlow

  • Ultrasonic Flow Sensor Threads 5-90°/PN16 qp0,6 to qp10
  • (G3/4” for R1/2” to G2” for R1½”, DN15 to DN40)
  • Ultrasonic Flow Sensor Flange 5-90°/PN16 qp0,6 to qp60 DN15 to DN100

Special secondary registers available:

Hybrid Applications

Consultative Sales: The usage of Hybrid Thermal Energy Meters is sometimes misleading. It is not designed to cover a dedicated heating application or a dedicated cooling application

It is designed to cover the very special application for the same heating installation system is designed to run:

  • A. up to 90°C supply temperature for heating with return temperature down to 15°C = positive temperature-difference, e.g. Tin70°C Treturn40°C, dT=30K
  • B. down to 5°C supply temperature for cooling, same flow direction as in heating mode with return temperature usually between 12°C and 18°C. e.g. Tin6°C Treturn12°C, dT= -6K
  • In A. = positive temperature difference, the energy is registered in register#1 “Heating”
  • In B. = negative temperature difference, the energy is registered in register#2 “Cooling”

Multi Tariff, Register 1 for Tariff 1, Register 2 for Tariff 2
The standard tariff register No 1 stores the heating and cooling energy respectively, as well as exceeding or falling below programmable threshold values (> or ≤). The following system parameters can be custom set:

  • Maximum Heating or Cooling power agreed
  • Maximum Flow rate Heating or Cooling
  • Maximum or Minimum Temperature in the warmer line
  • Maximum or Minimum Temperature in the colder line
  • Maximum or Minimum Temperature difference

The settings can be customized using the optical interface on site.
