A full color, high definition touch-screen graphical user interface makes operation easy. A simple menu structure featuring a METHOD system similar to the popular RFM series of Peltier controlled refractometers facilitates one-button change of wavelength and rapid configuration of the instrument from standard saccharimeter mode showing POL values in °Z to a more complex sugar purity system that calculates and displays Brix, POL, Density & Purity, with Brix being input manually using the touchscreen or directly via Ethernet connection.
Results may be printed or output via USB for saving to a memory stick for transferal to LIMS, whilst calibration with air or water and quartz control plates is a simple operation.
The ADS600 uses standard glass tubes in accordance with ICUMSA. UKAS certified Quartz Control Plates covering the range -30 to + 30 °Z are available.
