Providing revenue to local businesses & healthy meals to those in need

According to the US Census Bureau, the 2019 poverty average in Charlottesville, VA is 24.5%, which is 14.5% above the national average. The COVID-19 crisis has only exacerbated the need in the community. Through our partner Charlottesville Noland – Winsupply, our grant to The Chris Long Foundation will help the organization provide meals to 1000 people while also supporting locally owned restaurants through its Grub4Good program. By distributing meals through the foundation’s network of nonprofits and city agencies, the program will create a dual benefit of providing revenue to local businesses and providing healthy and safe meals to those who need them.
