Cooling-loop, liquid cooling, and hydronic infrastructure

Back to Data Centers
Sets of cooling towers in data center building.

We support the fluid-handling backbone that helps data centers cool reliably at scale. This includes applied water and hydronic systems such as pumps, motors, heat exchangers, tanks, valves, and related accessories used in cooling-loop infrastructure, including primary loops and other fluid systems associated with liquid-cooled environments.

Xylem also works with cooling OEMs and project stakeholders to help align system design, installation, and operation for performance and reliability in demanding environments. That includes co-engineering support across cooling architectures and the infrastructure needed to move and manage fluids through the facility.

Typical focus areas include:

  • Primary and secondary loop fluid handling
  • Pumps, motors, heat exchangers, tanks, valves, and accessories
  • Hydronic system components and balance-of-system support
  • Chiller-system and cooling distribution infrastructure support
  • Reliability-focused design and commissioning support
  • Co-engineering with cooling OEMs and project stakeholders
  • Operational continuity across expanding campuses
