Xylem collaborated with the New Plymouth District Council to trial the innovative Flygt Adaptive technology, replacing two existing mixers in the anoxic zone of bioreactors.

The new products cut energy costs in half as compared to the 5 previous floating mixers.

To address aging equipment and flood vulnerability at the Ross Street Station in Swan River, MB, the town partnered with Xylem and Associated Engineering to install three Flygt horizontal dry pit submersible pumps with self-cleaning N-impellers—ensuring reliability, efficiency, and flood resilience.
