FLYGT PROPELLER PUMP REPLACEMENT
New, smaller Flygt propeller pumps in the 7020–7040 series can replace old propeller pumps in a larger discharge column size.
An adaptor for the smaller pump is available to bridge the difference between the diameters of the new pump and the existing larger discharge column.
The adaptor outlet funnel provides good flow conditions to maximize efficiency. The adaptor supports the pump inside the pipe, and prevents it from rotating with a positive anti-rotation device. It is engineered to handle the static and dynamic loads of the pump and the moving water.
CABLE HANDLING
A cable handling system is recommended for all 7020–7040 installations and is important in deep discharge columns.
The existing cable handling system can be adapted to the cables of the new pump. Necessary new items include cable support grips and bundling kits, plus cable entry components (in pressurized systems).

Column pipe, semi permanent, submersible pump installation. Wet pit arrangement with the pump installed inside the discharge pipe, automatically seated on a flange.
