Controls Engineer.

This role is a significant opportunity to contribute to the growth of Xylem's India Technology Center and their expansion into disruptive technology and business solutions. The position involves playing a key role in advancing Xylem Transport's technology capabilities, transitioning from a component supplier to a systems supplier by offering integrated products and intelligent solutions. The selected candidate will be responsible for Project Engineering as per specification. Additionally, they may also work on Panel Schematics Design.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

Simulate, analyze the specification to evaluate Project requirement and design concepts. Design and develop PLC/HMI Software on Rockwell/siemens as per functional description. Design and develop Panel Schematics on CAD Electrical. Follows defined PLC/HMI software development process for development and testing. Task Completion in timely manner. Interface as needed with project engineer, manager, & sales in providing developed schematics and PLC/HMI software. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics & Communication engineering.
• 3-5 Years of PLC/HMI/SCADA Software development experience.

Essential / Critical Competencies:

• Expert in software development with different PLCs/SCADA/HMI.
• Good understanding of Logics and different Programming Languages like Ladder/STL/FBD/IL.
• Hands-on with Trouble shooting, Field startups and commissioning.
• Knowledge of different Communication Protocols.
