Sign On Bonus: $500 paid at 30 days and $500 paid at 90 days of employment**
The Role: The Test Technician will perform test, troubleshoot, repair and modify production electronic boards, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
- Follow work instructions, production drawings and procedures under supervision.
- Sets up standard test equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, variable power supplies, frequency counters, and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production systems.
- Perform test procedures to text complex circuit boards including CPU’s, digital Signal Processors, transmitters and receivers.
- Collect, log into database, analyze and interpret test data. Required to complete paperwork, and maintain accurate documentation. Perform routine electronic testing.

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience 3 years electronic technician
- The candidate must also be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and possess a can-do attitude.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and to perform repetitive hand motions. Knowledge of ESD procedures
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, assembly drawings and follow on computer and written work instructions
- Be able to prioritize and plan work activities and Attention to details essential
- Follow Safety Procedures
- Must be able to read, write and understand in English and follow instructions
- Basic Computer and MS Office (Word, Excel and Access) user experience is a plus

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $49,920 to $52,000 plus bonus. At Xylem, it is not typical for an individual to start at the top end of the range for the role however compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
