The Role: Own responsibilities for Xylem support for assigned customers and / or region.  Support customer requirements and coordinate solutions either independently or with internal Xylem team.  Correspond with Customer Service to ensure accuracy of BTO orders and Sales Support.  Request for Quotation review and manage Quotations, both accuracy and timeliness. Liaise with Sales to review requests for discounts and facilitate discussions with upper management, according to DOA. Assist Territory and Regional Managers with pipeline management.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:                     

  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
  • Support customer requirements, including technical specifications, drawings and instrucitons, and coordinate solutions to customer queries and software application problem
  • Answer software inquiries relating to product selection and updates
  • Prepare special submittal drawings for approval, review approval drawings process and prepare modification when needed
  • Process CQM / Quotations according to management guidelines and DOA including standard and non-standard products and /or development contracts
  • Communicate regarding CQM / Quotation requests with the respective Territory Managers or Market Development Manager
  • Coordinate the modification of standard equipment to customer requirements with Customer Service, Manufacturing and US plants.  
  • Assemble technical information in support of products applications, training and installation & operation manuals
  • Assist Territory Managers and Market Development Managers to create and execute account plan to achieve targeted sales and margin levels. 
  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

  • Minimum two year college diploma, technical discipline an asset
  • 5 years experience in similar position and environment supporting a sales organization
  • Excellent computer skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint.  Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to demonstrate courtesy and tact when dealing with customers and co-workers. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General technical knowledge of pump types, motors, variable speed drives and heat exchangers.
  • Knowledgeable on applications including fluid flow in open and closed systems.
