Every drop counts. Smarter solutions, whatever the weather.

See how utilities and industry are improving performance and resilience.

As expectations grow and operating conditions become more complex, water and wastewater utilities and industrial water users need practical ways to improve reliability, optimise performance and make informed decisions.

Visit Xylem at the IWA World Water Congress (Stand #405) to learn how organisations are improving reliability, efficiency and resilience across their operations. Through presentations, demonstrations and conversations with industry experts, you'll discover new ways to improve visibility, optimise performance and adapt to the challenges ahead.

See how utilities and industry are using smart, integrated technologies and services:

  • Net-zero pumping · Working with Xylem to upgrade hundreds of pumping stations as part of its net-zero commitment, Scottish Water deployed Flygt Concertor intelligent pumps and the Avensor digital monitoring platform. The utility cut energy use by up to 60%, reduced unplanned maintenance by 99.8% at pilot sites, and replaced weekly callouts with monthly inspections—accelerating its path to carbon neutrality by 2040.
  • Non-revenue water · Facing high seasonal demand and complex terrain, Aguas de Calpe, Spain deployed the Xylem Vue platform across its water and wastewater networks. The utility achieved a 35% reduction in non-revenue water and an 89% increase in distribution network performance over five years.
  • Leakage reduction · Integrating and standardising data on a single platform, Yorkshire Water uses Xylem Vue to improve leak detection and water balance across its distribution system. The utility has seen a 57% reduction in visible leaks, a 32% reduction in leakage in high-priority areas, and almost 30% fewer distribution main repairs each year.
  • Water reuse & stewardship · In partnership with Xylem, Manchester City Football Club has achieved 100% water self-sufficiency for pitch irrigation at its City Football Academy, capturing and reusing rainwater on-site with help from the Xylem Vue platform. The partnership has saved approximately 100 million litres of potable water over two years—a scalable model for urban water management.
