What is plogging?
Throughout the month of June, accept the Plogging Challenge to learn more about the threat of plastic pollution, how you can reduce your own plastic waste, and how you can have an impact in your community by plogging.
Plastic pollution is a monumental challenge we face globally, but together we can make a difference.
Plogging is the act of picking up trash while jogging or otherwise being active outside. Originating in Sweden and then expanding globally in 2018, people of all ages and fitness-levels from around the world have begun improving the health of their communities by preventing litter from entering our waterways and oceans.
Are you up for the challenge?
Start plogging, engage your friends and family, and learn about strategies for reducing your single-use plastic consumption throughout the month of June with Watermark’s Plogging Challenge.
The PLOG! Board outline various challenges in a BINGO format: complete five squares in a row and Xylem Watermark will make a $10 donation to our global nonprofit partners; if you complete the whole board you’ll earn a grand prize of $100 to be donated to a nonprofit of your choice!
Anyone can join the challenge! Xylem business partners, families, and other community members are also welcome to take part in this year’s plogging activity. Download the External version of the PLOG! Bingo board to view the instructions for non-Xylem employees. Translations into German, Danish, and Italian are available here.
