Many rural areas in Chile are facing water shortages as a result of several years of dry weather. Water plays a vital role in preventing the spread of COVID-19 through hand washing and basic hygiene when sheltering at home. Through Xylem’s supplier partner Remote Waters, Xylem Watermark’s grant to the Amulen Foundation will provide a mobile water treatment plant that will generate 20,000 liters per day, covering the clean water needs of approximately 600 people for six months.
