Sontek Ships Historic Order to Brazil

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA — MARCH 26TH, 2014

A multi-million dollar order for acoustic Doppler instrumentation was recently shipped to Brazil's National Water Agency (ANA) making this single largest order in SonTek's 22 year history.

65 RiverSurveyor M9's and 46 FlowTracker handheld ADV's were shipped to ANA who is responsible for overseeing the sustainable use of river and lake resources in the country. They will use the equipment to collect flow and discharge measurement data from one of the most extensive river networks in the world.

SonTek distributor Clean Environment Brasil will work with ANA, offering training and technical support. Clean is the new home of the only authorized SonTek service center in the region, selected specifically for their level of water monitoring expertise and ability to providing customers such as ANA the access they need to tools and education required for long-term, complex monitoring projects.
