Sales support Engineer - METEngineering | ITC – Vadodara, Gujarat, India
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and commercial support to sales representatives / customers.
- Evaluate and analyse customer enquiries, assist in the selection of the appropriate equipment to meet the overall requirements, and prepare technical and commercial proposal.
- Continuous support to customers in matters related to products, pricing, technical letters etc.
- Prepare and submit quotations in a timely manner as per company policies, utilizing Xylem systems and tools.
- Liaise with customers, headquarters, factories, sales team, GC team to obtain sufficient information to enable completion of a compliant quotation and therefore to maximize opportunities to receive an order within the current market guidelines.
- Assist the order department with clarifications on product and technical information for orders and coordinate the terms and conditions for the sale.
- Allocate project reference numbers and ensure all the data related to the project is saved under relevant folders as well as essential fields in the CRM and other tools.
- Assist the manager in maintaining the ME product assortment in accordance with the market needs and customer inputs.
- Assist the manager in maintaining the internal / external sales tools.
- Maintain and develop internal product knowledge to enhance the support to our customers.
- Co-operate with fellow colleagues to ensure that departmental functions and objectives are achieved efficiently.
- Train our representatives, customers and Xylem sales team on products and sales tools.
- Work with the Order department to ensure equipment is delivered with the contracted timescale.
- Follows up with customers and sales representatives for the projects quoted
- Internal responsibilities related to products and pricing.
- Track performance as per set team KPIs.
