Xylem Reach Student Hackathon 2021
Are you interested in building impactful projects? Do you want to win amazing prizes and meet awesome people along the way? Do you want to use your passion to solve some of the world’s most pressing challenges for water and sustainability?
Happening virtually from October 6th to 10th, join the Xylem Ignite Reach 2021 Hackathon!! Last year’s event was such a success that we are bringing it back with even more students, better prizes, and more fun! Students will compete to win over $15,000 in prizes, with the top teams each receiving $4,000! The event is FREE to enter and all current High School and University students globally are eligible to participate.
If you are not familiar with Hackathons, they are multi-day events where individuals or teams “hack” together software-based projects to solve challenges. Reach 2021 Hackathon will have problem statements focused on solving global water and sustainability challenges – with specific problem statements announced at the Opening Ceremony!
The competition will take place fully virtual, with a variety of events, webinars, and mentorship opportunities accessible over Discord/Zoom.
