Buyer / Order Planner

This position: Make necessary purchases using the best negotiation and acquisition strategies for the Operations area. Purchase of equipment related to the manufacture of pumps. Heavy Equipment, Large Tools and Industrial Equipment. Maintains excellent business relationships with suppliers and coordinates purchasing logistics. Directs and coordinates the purchasing functions for raw materials, finished products and/or development services related to suppliers in a productive manner focused on meeting the Company's objectives

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Performs key functions in purchases such as: preparation of orders, issuance and changes, etc. • Review of requisitions, evaluation of quotations, authorization of purchases within the limits of established authority. • Resolution of discrepancies regarding purchase orders such as: scope, delivery times, delays, penalties, quantities, prices and billing, non-conformities of delivery, packaging with suppliers and with the respective areas of the company.
