How to Identify Your Jabsco Electric Marine Toilet Model

The best way to figure out which Jabsco electric marine toilet model you have is simply by looking at the switch that activates the flush. This video shows the switch and the corresponding model number for our more popular marine toilets, including the Jabsco Electric marine toilets, the Jabsco Quiet Flush marine toilets, and the Jabsco Deluxe Flush marine toilets.

Jeff: And today, we're going to show you how to identify what electric toilet you have.

Mike: Now the big thing, Jeff, is when you start working on the on the electric toilet, you need to know which one you have. And what Jeff’s going to do is he's going to walk you through and give you some key identifiers to show you which toilet you might have.

Jeff: Sounds good, Mike. Let's get started.

37010 is the oldest of our electric toilet line and is identified as a single black push button switch that brings the water in and macerates it simultaneously.

Quiet Flush series toilet is either fitted with a diaphragm pump or a solenoid valve that is connected to your pressurized fresh water system. It features either a red push button and black toggle switch, or two gray toggle switches. If you are using a diaphragm pump connected to your seacock or unpressurized source, you have a 37245 series. If you are using a solenoid valve plumbed directly into your existing pressurized fresh water supply, then you have a 37045 series Quiet Flush.

Like the Quiet Flush, the Deluxe Flush is either fitted with a diaphragm pump or solenoid valve that is connected to your pressurized fresh water supply. It features either a blue oval control pad with four functions, or a grey rectangular control pad that also has four functions. The four functions are fill, flush, quick flush and empty. If you're using a diaphragm pump connected to your seacock or in pressurized source, you have a 582XX Series Deluxe Flush. If you're using a solenoid valve plumbed into your existing pressurized fresh water supply. You have a 580XX Series Deluxe Flush. The last two digits really aren't that important and only refer to the 14- or 17-inch slant and straight back varieties offered.

Mike: So that was pretty cool. Jeff went through, showed you which switch goes with which toilet. It's going to be a great starting block when you're looking at the data sheets and you're looking at parts. When you're talking to distributors or suppliers, you're going to be able to say, I have a Quiet Flush, I have a Deluxe Flush, and that's really going to help them out. Well, what are thoughts?
