For our headquarters in Lainate (MI) we are looking for an Aftermarket Specialist who will be the internal reference for everything concerning requests for spare parts for Xylem products, with particular focus on more complex cases that cannot be managed independently by the sales and AED network. In addition, the Aftermarket Engineer is in charge for the administrative and IT management of the Xylem Service Partner network, also supporting the arrangement of dedicated training courses. The Aftermarket Engineer must keep all his/her interlocutors informed and continuously updated on news relating to company applications used for spare parts and technical aspects relating to the aftermarket of products. The Aftermarket Engineer will work in strict cooperation with the Service centers and support the BDM Aftermarket S&R through reports, with the scope of developing market analysis and continuous improvement actions within Aftermarket business.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Quotation and technical support on all Xylem brand parts, cooperating with GC for spare parts complex case (though PAS system and with factory experts)
  • Management and quality improvement of spares parts list prices (including new parts pricing and description)
  • Progressive renewal of Service partner contracts with last updated versions
  • Service Partner Extranet account management and Xylem website updating
  • Training course support and arrangement for Xylem Partners
  • Promote and manage training of the employees from all the departments he/she works with
  • Preparing the reports to support Aftermarket business analysis and improvement action
  • Follow the basic rules of the code of conduct
  • Achieve goals set by leadership

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Define marketing material related to Aftermarket
  • Periodical update of Service material released by GC
  • Assign Service leads in SFDC to the right sales person

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 2 or 3 years’ experience in similar role
  • Good communication and relational skills
  • Excellent English knowledge

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the reference market segment
  • Great capability to prioritize and arrange the daily tasks
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • CI (Continuous Improvement) mindset
  • Knowledge of IT applications (Power BI, Business Object, Salesforce)

CONTRACT: Permanent, full time
LOCATION: Lainate (MI)
SMART WORKING: 2 days per week, after a first training period
