Oliver Puckering leads Xylem’s Partnership Accelerator within Xylem Innovation Labs, where he focuses on building strategic collaborations that accelerate breakthrough solutions to global water challenges. In this role, Oliver works at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and partnerships, fostering relationships with start-ups, scale-ups, academic institutions, and industry leaders to advance environmental, social, and governance (ESG) outcomes across the water sector.

A chartered chemical engineer, Oliver brings a blend of technical expertise and commercial insight to the development of collaborative innovation programs. His work centers on identifying emerging technologies, building trusted partnerships, and creating scalable models that support more resilient and sustainable water management practices. Through the Partnership Accelerator, Oliver and his team are helping establish new approaches to shared value creation and responsible water stewardship.

Raised in southern England, Oliver developed a deep connection to rivers and coastal environments from an early age—an influence that continues to shape his professional focus. Before joining Xylem, he worked across universities, start-ups, SMEs, and multinational organizations in a range of engineering and innovation roles. Today, he is a strong advocate for open, cross-sector collaboration, believing that radical cooperation across industries and disciplines is essential to meeting the world’s most pressing water challenges.
