Providing 75,000 meals to people in need

According to the Map the Meal Gap study from Feeding America, nearly 300,000 residents in the Northern Illinois area are food insecure. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, Feeding America estimates that number will increase by 10% to 53%. Through Xylem’s utility partner Nicor Gas, our grant to the Northern Illinois Food Bank will provide 75,000 meals to people in need.
