Aanderaa Data Instruments AS, is recognized worldwide for quality solutions, instruments and sensors. We have been working within the Offshore Crane Instrumentation Market for more than 40 years, establishing the well-known product brand – MIPEG.

We are now looking for a Business Development and Product Manager who will be able to expand and maintain our market position. Our ideal candidate has sufficient technical expertise to understand and communicate our solutions and is motivated to meet customers, seek, and explore opportunities.

The Offshore Crane Segment is part of the Aanderaa Ocean & Coastal markets. The MipegX system is a well renowned product ensuring crane safety around the world. Our customers are worldwide and we work through local distributors and partners, but also sell direct to certain regions and end-users. We are looking for a candidate who will be able to maintain a good overview of existing and up-coming projects, customers, and market trends. International travelling, product presentation and working exhibitions to secure our excellent market position, will be part of your normal duty.

Responsibilities

  • Sales worldwide to hit targets for the Offshore Crane segment
  • Setup and manage distribution in selected markets
  • Maintain a sales pipeline
  • Visit key customers and ensure good relationship with key partners
  • Product management over the lifecycle of the Crane products to:
    •  product fulfils customer demands and is priced correctly
    • ensure sales and marketing materials are up to date
    • forecasting of volumes to enable Manufacturing and Supply planning processes
    • certifications of product is maintained
    • VOC for new products

Experience

  • Minimum 3 year technical education in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or similar
  • Experience with international sales of technical product
  • Used to working both with Face to Face sales and Virtual Selling
  • Comfortable of doing product demos for customers, virtually or in-person
  • Experience with sales pipeline management, product strategy formulation, and global marketing strategy
  • Enthusiastic and Comfortable in operating in the area between technology, economy, business development and strategy
  • Understanding of certification of products wrt CE, ATEX/IECEX 
  • Good command of Norwegian and English written and verbal
