New York has suffered terribly from flooding in recent years, with 2021’s flash floods caused by Hurricane Ida bringing the issue to the world’s attention once more.
We’re calling on Water Heroes to use your extra time to help turn the tide on the flooding in NY State by:
- Plogging (that’s picking litter while jogging) to keep storm drains clear and functioning properly
- Planting trees to help fight climate change.
