Xylem gets Dannemora Mine back in business

Mining in the Dannemora iron ore mine in Sweden came to a halt in 1992 following a severe drop in the price of iron ore, which meant that the operation was no longer sustainable. In 2009, with the iron ore market prospering again, Dannemora Mineral AB began work to get the mine dry and back in operation. Xylem worked with Dannemora Mineral to rid the mine of water and ensure it remained water-free throughout its operation.
