The Smith-Blair 256 Full Circle Repair Clamp is a single-band, cast stainless steel lug clamp designed to provide 360° pressure and complete leak repair. Specifically engineered for hot soil and other aggressive environments, this clamp is great for repairing complete breaks, splits, and holes in pipes.

The band is constructed from Stainless Steel Type 304, paired with CF8 austenitic Cast Stainless Steel lugs. The Nitrile (Buna N) gasket produces superior storage and performance characteristics while resisting water, acids, alkalies, most aliphatic hydrocarbons, and other chemicals. Additionally, the 304 Stainless Steel bridge plate is recessed flush and bonded to the gasket, while the 304 Stainless Steel bolts feature rolled threads and are fluoropolymer coated to prevent galling.

This clamp supports nominal pipe sizes from 2" through 12" and handles working pressures up to 300 PSI. It is suitable for use on Steel, Cast Iron, Asbestos Cement, PVC, Ductile Iron, and other types of pipes. (Use on HDPE requires spring washers). The clamp operates effectively within a temperature range of -20°F to +180°F.

Please note that this product does not restrain pipe movement. Proper anchoring is required to prevent pipe pullout. Failure to anchor or improper anchoring can result in dangerous pipe content escape, property damage, serious injury, or death. Read the product installation instructions prior to installing this product.
