Why modularization is becoming the blueprint for modern data centers
Xylem’s Matt Johnson explains how modularization has become essential for modern data center development. As AI, cloud computing and increasingly sophisticated projects continue to drive capacity, operators are embracing prefabricated systems as the reference growth model to accelerate deployment and address labor constraints. Johnson highlights the benefits of modular cooling infrastructure in enabling gradual capacity expansion and operational consistency, helping data centers adapt more effectively, and more quickly, to evolving performance, power and sustainability requirements.
