Xylem's Smith-Blair 926 Meter Coupling to oval flanged water meters or flanged valve fittings. The coupling features total angular deflection up to 1-1/2° per joint, providing installation flexibility. Manufactured with ductile iron and Flexi-Coat® fusion bonded epoxy finish, the 926 is NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 certified and meets applicable AWWA C219 standards.

The Smith-Blair 926 Flanged Flexible Meter Coupling is designed for joining plain-end pipe to oval flanged water meters and for joining plain-end pipe to flanged valves and fittings. The coupling accommodates nominal pipe sizes from 1-1/2" to 2" and is suitable for use with Stainless Steel, PVC, Copper, and Cast Iron pipe. With a working pressure rating of 175 psi, the 926 provides a reliable connection solution for various water meter and service equipment applications.
The flanged body and follower are cast using Ductile Iron per ASTM A536 with Flexi-Coat® fusion bonded epoxy finish which meets application methods AWWA C213. The gasket and O-ring are Nitrile (Buna-N). The coupling is NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 certified. The nut is HSLA Carbon Steel.
