UN Water Conference: Private Sector Investment Commitment to Water Innovation

The weight of mounting water challenges disproportionately falls on communities – and especially disadvantaged communities. How do we work across sectors and borders to overcome these challenges and achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals? How can the private sector innovate technology and business models to drive deployment of valuable solutions while harnessing the power of government, civil society, investors, development agencies and the next generation of leaders to address these challenges?

Accredited attendees of the United Nations Water Conference are invited to convene with Xylem to learn about the role of innovation and technology in addressing global water challenges and meeting the United Nations’ water-related sustainability goals. The event will seek to bring forward ideas on how to get the most benefit from innovation in advancing the UN SDGs – with contributions by technology innovators, investors, government, civil society, and development agencies. The event will also feature a collective pledge from private sector companies toward investment in accelerating innovation and deployment of water solutions to address global water challenges.
