Sludge Thickening System

The sludge thickening system is designed to take low concentrated sludge (1-2% solids) and increase the sludge concentration to 4-5% solids by means of gravity settling on a continuous basis.
Sludges from a Memtek® microfilter system, a solids separator (clarifier) or a TotalTreat® Continuous Precipitation System (CPS) can be further thickened by using a sludge thickening system. The thickened sludge can then be pumped to a filter press for further dewatering.
