Xylem to showcase latest dewatering technologies and cutting-edge expertise at Conexpo 2017

New financing agreement
provides flexible funding options to U.S. customers for Godwin and Flygt pumps

Live demos to take place at Xylem booth number C32426

BRIDGEPORT, New Jersey, March 3, 2017 – Xylem, (NYSE: XYL), a leading global water technology company dedicated to solving the world's most challenging water issues, will showcase a selection of its latest dewatering technologies and leading expertise at Conexpo-Con/Agg, Las Vegas, Nevada, March 7-11, 2017.

At Conexpo, the company will officially launch a new financing solution which provides flexible funding options to Xylem's U.S. customers. The financing options are available to commercial and industrial organizations, as well as state and local governments acquiring Godwin and Flygt dewatering equipment. To introduce this new financing agreement, Xylem is offering introductory interest rates as low as 1.99 percent on new and used Godwin and Flygt equipment now through the end of March 2017.

Jackie Helfrich, Vice President, Strategy and Marketing for Xylem's dewatering business said, "Our new financing option makes it easier for our customers in North America to purchase new or used equipment. This is a 100 percent financing option – no up-front investment is required, which allows our customers to acquire pumping equipment they need, when they need it, not just when it is feasible within their operating budget."

Trade show attendees are invited to view a live remote pump operation demonstration at the Xylem booth (Central Hall 4, booth no. C32426) each day of the show, throughout the day and upon request. The live demonstration will involve a Godwin PrimeGuard Controller featuring Field Smart Technology (FST).  The FST demo will monitor and control a pump stationed 2,500 miles away through a live satellite link.

Godwin Field Smart Technology, designed by Xylem's engineers specifically for dewatering pumps, offers customers additional security as it enables them to turn off and lock a pump located anywhere in the world. Predictive analytics features, including a built-in alarm system to warn operators of faults in a pump, means that when an engineer is going to fix the problem, they know exactly what equipment to bring along. For reporting purposes, pump data can be logged and documented, or even tied back to a SCADA system for ultimate system efficiencies and control.

Kevin Snow, Godwin Global Product Manager for Xylem's dewatering business said, "With our Field Smart Technology (FST), customers can monitor and control the operation of a pump located anywhere in the world, giving real-time visibility to critical performance parameters, and providing peace of mind. FST has been very well received by our customers as it reduces the need for on-site pump monitoring and the labor cost associated with manual field monitoring."

Also at Conexpo, Xylem will share details with customers about its newly launched option of purchasing Factory Certified Pre-Owned Godwin pumps. Xylem's new website http://sales.xylem.com/ features specifications and pricing for more than 150 premium Godwin pumps from Xylem's U.S. rental fleet, all of which are immediately available for customers in North America to purchase. Every pump featured on the site has been part of Xylem's own rental fleet and maintained to exacting factory standards.

Xylem customers can choose between the speed and 24/7 flexibility of renting Godwin or Flygt pumps, buying them brand new, or sourcing pre-owned options online at a lower cost of ownership. Xylem is unique as the only global company operating in the dewatering space that manufactures, rents, sells and services its own equipment which gives our customers access to a broad range of market-leading and reliable dewatering technologies and solutions. The company has invested significantly in its international rental footprint, having recently announced expansions in Europe, South Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.

Mike Delzingaro, Vice President, Sales and Branch Operations for Xylem's dewatering business said, "With the world's largest rental fleet of 20,000 assets and a team that are 'always on', Xylem is available to help customers solve complex water challenges 24/7. Our broad footprint puts us right where our customers need us – for emergency response or planned projects – making it easier than ever for our customers to get the job done."
